thanks for the info
but then hybrid sleep is slow when its going to wake up already. so i tried something better.

in execution priority sleep is always first than hibernate, so try setting hibernate and sleep for a certain time.
ex: sleep 1hr
hibernate 1min

what will happen is, after 1hr it will execute sleep then after 1 min it will execute hibernate.

you can try it your self, try setting sleep for 5 mins and hibernate for 1 min, and get a timer

ive tried it already and still using that method until now.

btw im using windows 7

I am using Windows 7 ultimate and I have a Transcend 4 gb usb memory stick. I went here http://www.transcendusa.com/Products/online_recovery.asp downloaded the online recovery app, ran it and now my usb stick works again. (To be on the safe side remove any other usb sticks or external hard drives you don’t wish to format.)

I had the same problem as most people here: one day, all of a sudden my memory stick decided to become write protected and I didn’t do anything to alter it. It is a retractable usb pen WITHOUT one of those write protect switch that other people are talking about. So the above was the only thing that worked for me…. Hope this helps…
